The apartment was cozy and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen was a game-changer for our family, allowing us to cook delicious meals together. The flat-screen TV with cable channels offered great entertainment options during our downtime. Both bedrooms were comfortable and provided a restful night's sleep.

Personally, I would have preferred a larger fridge in the kitchen.

We had a lovely stay in York near Helmsley for breakfast, and a fantastic pub. There was absolutely gorgeous and large room with 1 double bed. Included a shower, a hairdryer, and bath sheets, all very handy.

I absolutely loved staying at this charming apartment. The decor was lovely and the beds were so comfortable, making it a truly cozy stay. The added treats on arrival, like fresh bread and cookies, were a delightful touch. The fully equipped kitchen allowed me to cook a delicious dinner. The tea room downstairs was a highlight, serving a fabulous breakfast to start my day. It was evident that this is a family-run business, as the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. it was an absolute pleasure staying here. I would highly recommend it.

One minor drawback was the lack of off-road parking, but I never had any issues finding parking outside Hearts of Ampleforth cafe. The village was so peaceful and quiet that I felt completely at ease leaving my car there.

My partner and I stayed at Acorn for a delightful weekend getaway. The property surpassed our expectations in every way, with its thoughtfully designed furnishings and fantastic amenities. Located in a charming village, we were treated to the convenience of an amazing teashop downstairs and a fabulous takeout option from the local pub. The warm and welcoming team made sure we had a memorable stay, and the well-equipped apartment, complete with a washing machine, made our packing lighter. The spaciousness and cleanliness of the apartment, along with the friendly hosts, made it incredible value for our money.

    Totally recommend this hotel.

The apartment was cozy and comfortable, with two bedrooms that provided a peaceful retreat. I loved the fully equipped kitchen, where I could whip up a home-cooked meal and save some money. The flat-screen TV with cable channels was a nice bonus for relaxing evenings.

Personally, I found the washing machine a bit noisy. But hey, it's just my opinion, and others might not mind it at all.

We absolutely loved our stay at Acorn Apartment. The decor was charming and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We were greeted with a delightful welcome basket filled with treats like fresh bread, milk, cookies, jam, and Yorkshire crisps. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare a delicious dinner. One of the highlights was the gorgeous tea room located below the apartment, where we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast before starting our day. The fact that it's a family-run business made our experience even more special, as the staff was incredibly friendly and provided true Yorkshire hospitality. The village of Ampleforth and its surrounding areas were breathtakingly beautiful, and we felt like we were in our own little bubble of tranquility. The location was perfect, with easy access to the Hearts of Ampleforth Cafe for parking. It was so quiet and peaceful that we had no worries about the safety of our car. The location of the apartment was absolutely stunning, surrounded by exceptional beauty and in a peaceful village. The village itself was quiet and offered a gem of tranquility.

The lack of off-road parking, but we were reassured that parking outside Hearts of Ampleforth cafe was safe, and it proved to be true.

The lack of off-road parking, but there was ample parking available outside Hearts of Ampleforth cafe. Although the village was quiet, it would have been more convenient to have dedicated parking.

I absolutely adored the location of the apartment! It was nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Ampleforth and offered exceptional views. The nearby Hearts of Ampleforth Cafe was a delightful spot for breakfast and provided true Yorkshire hospitality. The village itself was serene and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The White Swan, just a short walk away, was a must-visit for a delicious dinner. The spacious bedrooms and well-appointed kitchen and bathroom were impressive. The welcome basket with tea, coffee, milk, a small loaf of bread, a jar of jam, and a bag of crisps was a thoughtful touch.

One drawback of my stay was that I didn't receive any directions on finding the property besides the postcode. However, I was fortunate enough to read from the reviews that it was located above a teashop, which made it relatively easy to find.
